Van is a seasoned entrepreneur and business broker with a track record of successful exits and operational excellence. As the founder of Van Daughtry Consulting, LLC, he advises owners of small and mid-sized businesses on strategic sales, acquisitions, and transitions. He also serves as a commercial real estate agent with Keller Williams in Raleigh, NC, providing clients with a comprehensive approach to business and property transactions.

Van’s leadership experience spans multiple industries. He built and operated a 20-unit Jackson Hewitt franchise for over a decade, earning national recognition for performance. Prior to that, he restructured and scaled his family’s agricultural business, culminating in a profitable exit to a major national buyer. His career began in commercial banking, grounding him in finance and risk management.

Van holds an MBA from Campbell University and a BA in Business Management from NC State University.

Before entering business brokerage, Todd directed a Christian non-profit and built a thriving Real Estate practice with 15 years of experience as a business owner, giving him a unique perspective on what drives business success. He is committed to delivering results that exceed expectations—whether it’s securing the right buyer or optimizing a sale for long-term wealth creation.
Tracy Vance
Tracy brings an extensive and diverse background to the Van Daughtry Consulting team, including Fortune 500 global leadership roles, the launch of a successful e-commerce start-up, and owning a franchise in the financial services industry.  His industry experience includes banking, industrial manufacturing, consumer electronic manufacturing, staffing, financial services, and healthcare, with specialties in global technology management.

Tracy offers almost 30 years of M&A experience, with a sale size range of $3B to less than $1M.  He has successfully led many mid to small business sales, and has led large scale integrations post sale.  He enjoys getting involved in the details, whether it be advising a client on improving their operations, or navigating the successful sale of their business.
